A Realm Reborn sightseeing log #051
Castrum Marinum
"Say what you will about our foe, you can't deny that the architecture of their outposts has a certain ghastly charm. I would have enjoyed the sunset a while longer, but the cohort doesn't take kindly to tourists." Such were the scout's words, and I would see as he saw.
Situated atop the roiling Rhotano Sea between Aldenard and the eastern coast of Vylbrand, Castrum Marinum serves as the southernmost outpost for the Garlean Empire's XIVth Legion. The cohort stationed on this man-made floating island is primarily tasked with the resupplying of imperial army cohorts deployed in the La Noscea and Thanalan theaters.
