Created by a fallen civilization particularly fond of divination, this wavekin was once believed to convey celestial portents. Given the outcome, its tidings may have been too dire to bear─or perhaps its makers simply overestimated the prophetic capacity of what is, to all appearances, a glorified lungfish.
